Word 2003 Can you create a tally chart on either word or excel?

Apparently, no one here has any ideas. I, for one, have no idea
what a "tally chart" is. But the best place to ask is certainly
in an Excel group, since all of Microsoft Office's charting
functionality "belongs" to Excel and is just "borrowed" by other
apps.
