check spelling not working

recently my spell check wasn't working. even checking the grammar seems odd
coz not much errors were detected. i try to uninstall and reinstalled the
word in my pc but still it was the same. i try check the word option and
everything but it was the same afterall. did someone can somehow leave me
advice how to fix this? thanks
