Checking multiple accounts

Is there any way to force Outlook 2002 to check POP
accounts sequentially (ie: check one account, then after
that's complete, check the next, and so on) I monitor
multiple accounts from the same system, and it seems that
my mail server will not allow more that 4 concurrent
connections, so for the accounts over 4 I receive the
following,

Task 'xxxxxx - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

The ISP seems unwilling to increase the limit, their
answer is to use multiple profiles or forwarding, neither
of which I really care to do. I can't seem to find any
way to change the way Outlook connects to the server. Any
help would be appreciated, thanks.

Set up appropriate Send/Receive groups.
