Class not initialised when Word started by opening doc for IE

Using Class module to control document change/open events. This works great
if Word is opened normally, or started by opening a document on the PC or
network. However if Word is started by opening a document from a hyperlink
from an HTML page on web/intranet page then the class is not initialised. Is
there a way around this?
