Clearing History in ClipArt

I am a computer teacher at an elementary school and had a
student search for inappropriate clipart within Word. Is
there a way to clear that history so that the words do not
show up under the search field?

Are you using WordXP?

There's no real history-- just the last query is stored. You can clear it
by searching for anything else and restarting Word.

I'm using Word 2000 on XP. The problem I have is when
choosing to search and insert clip art into Word. At the
search address line, choosing the down arrow displays the
last searches made. Something within Word stores the last
searches made on each machine much like any search engine
and does not clear out when restarting word.

Ah, I see. This is actually "Clip Gallery" running from Word. Mary gives
the KB article you'll need.
