Suddenly some, but not all, of the colors on linked Excel charts have been
converted to gray scale. Specifically, the chart fill colors are gone but
the outline colors are still present. If I double click on the chart to open
it in Excel everything is fine. I was forced to copy the charts and paste
them as pictures in my ppt to preserve the colors. The charts are set up as
separate chart sheets in Excel.
I also noticed that if I open the Format Object/Picture/Recolor dialog, all
of the Origional colors appear as shades of gray. Something is broken
between PowerPoint and Excel but I have no idea what.
Has anyone seen this behavior before or have any ideas? I am using Office
2003 .
