Column Widths Too Large for Page in Trifold Pamphlet

D

Dennis Hughes

I'm making (trying to) a tri-fold pamphlet using Word 2002.

In page setup I have landscape selected and margins of .5" all around.

I formatted the document (two pages, back and front) to have three
columns. I get column widths of 3.1" with a separation (no line) of
0.7".

This adds up to 12.4" and the page width is only 11".

If I change either the column spacing or width the other changes and I'm
still beyond my paper boundaries.

Any ideas how to make the trifold pamphlet and have it print properly?

Thanks and a happy fourth to all,

Dennis

Did you use the brochure template? That seems to take care of columm
widths, etc for me.
