Combining inboxes in Outlook 2007

Dustin

I recently combinted my inboxes in Outlook 2007 with a pop3 account and
exchange server. For some reason emails will not send and remain in the set
items folder. somtimes i change sending via exchange to pop3 or vice versa.
sometimes this works and sometimes not. i also exit outlook and then open up
outlook and this too sometimes works. however, it is very frustrating and
time consuming. any ideas on what is going on here?

ps i do not pretend to be a master at outlook or office for that matter.

thanks in advance.

If you see a message in the Sent Items folder, then it WAS sent. I don't
understand the comment about "remaining in the Sent Items folder." That's
where sent items should be.

A POP account will use the same folders that the Exchange account uses,
unless you specifically create another Inbox and Sent Items folder for the
POP account to use and then select those in Tools>Account Settings.
