Commercial printer small runs

Hi does any one know of a good reliable printer who will print in runs of
300 or so water resist labels. Our products are used in the kitchen and
bathroom and we urgently need to upgrade nearly 60 labels.
Many thanks

Hi Mike
The problem is that they need to be water resist labels. My existing printer
prints ok on normal paper labels, but they need to be upgraded. Thank you for
your comments.

Judi,

I think you will find it will cost almost as much for 300 labels as it
will for five times that. I did a Google search using your criteria
(wasn't sure of the size) and 300 labels cost about $275. 1500 cost $290.

For such a small run, I would look into buying special ink for your
desktop printer or perhaps photocopying them.

The price delta on a lot of printing between 500 and 1000 or 2000 is not a
significant amount when you look at the cost per unit. This is especially
evident with quantities under 500 or 1,000.

Sometimes there are reasons to order exactly what you need. More often than
not it is more practical to order a bit more than needed for a modest amount
more.

Spreading the cost of setting up a press for 300 is the same as it is for
500 in most situations. Spreading that one setup across a larger amount
helps offset the cost, which is fairly significant in the overall price. On
small quantities the setup costs are more than the paper frequently. Hence
the appeal of digital, lower costing setup charges.
