Compatibility of Windows XP and Office 97 Professional Edition

Currently own Office 97 Pro Edition. About to buy new
computer with XP Home Edition Operating System. Will I be
able to load and use my Office 97 software with the XP
Oper. Sys.? If not, what is best alternative to use
Office with XP?

Office 97 will run just fine on Windows XP.

Occasionally, after installing Office 97 on Windows XP or Windows 2000, a
user may receive the following message: "Microsoft Access can't start
because there is no license for it on this machine." This problem is due,
of all things, to a font. The fix for that problem, should it occur, is
