Completely remove office xp pro

J

Jason

I have a PC that has had office installed on it with all
kinds of "customization" done to the defaults. If I
removed and re-install office these settings are
retained. I need to completely remove office from this pc
and get it to a point as if office was never installed.
If there a utility that will clean up profile specific,
user specific, and registry specific entries?

Thanks,
Jason

There's a removal utility on the MS website, do a search for it. They
also have instructions for completely removing Office and I gotta tell
ya, it looks almost as bad as removing Zone Alarm! You must delete
..dlls, registry keys, etc. etc. etc. I got about 40 minutes into it
and just formatted and re-installed, life's too short. <sigh>

Why in the world do people write software like that? I like an
uninstaller the uninstalls! Everything!
