There are many neat features in Front Page, but one I was pleasantly
surprised to find was the simplification of form completion. For example,
when a user types just one letter into the FirstName field, a drop down list
appears with all the possible first names, starting with that letter. Type a
second letter and the drop down list narrows. You've all seen this feature
on other web sites.
I have two questions.
1. What are the official names of the fields that utilize this feature. For
example, LastName works, but I doubt that Surname works. If we know these
field names, we can more fully utilize this feature.
2. Where is this info stored. In the registry? In particular it would be
nice to erase some of these values. Once I typed my userID and password into
the same field. I THOUGHT I had hit the tab key, in between these two
fields, but apparently not. Now, whenever I type in my userID, my password
is also visible in the drop down list.
