Conditional Formatting Based on Current User Role

L

Lee Vance

I've created some user roles based on our Active Directory groups. I've set
up a condition on a group to not show if the current user role does not equal
a specified user role. When I preview the template, I don't see the group
even though I know that I am in the Active Directory group that the user role
is based on.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Hey Lee.

I have not tried to use roles before but I know others have had issues
getting them to work. My guess is the roles are not working and the user is
not being identified.

Another option is to create a field to track the form state.
Make it 0 by default.
After the first submit button, add an action to set the state to 1
The second button sets it to 2, etc.

Then you can use it's state for your conditional formatting.
