Conditional formatting

Hello,

in Excel 2003, how do I make the following:

if the number in cell in Column 1 is found in Column 2 AND in Column 3, do
some formatting... The point is - I know how to make the conditions, but how
do I impose the 'AND' paradigm between both? That is - do the formatting only
if both conditions hold true...aren't the conditions OR'd by default? Thanks!

In the Conditional Formatting dialogue box, select Formula Is rather
than Cell Value Is in the first box, and then enter this formula in
the next box:

=AND(A1=B1,B1=C1)

then click on the Format button and set your format to suit.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, that'll be it. One more point - instead of comparing against one cell
(B1), I need comparing against a range (R1C2:2150C2); wouldn't a lookup
function be better for this? If so, which one?
