Conditions to Saving

I'm sure this is probably easy but I think my brain is still on vacation

I have a form that is used to record journal entries crediting dollar values
from one account while debiting another. I have running totals set for the
debits and the credits.

How would I write code that would:
Compare the running totals and after informing the user that their values
don't match, stop the user from closing the form until they either correct
their entry or close without saving?

Put your code in the BeforeUpdate event of the form and set Cancel = True to
stop the update.
