configuration of MS Office Entreprise 2007

My computer recently had the blue screen due to the Microsoft update not
completing. The registry was missing and had to be reloaded by the Geek
Squad. Now none of my office programs work. I an getting an error message
that the configuration is not correct and that reloading the program may fix
the problem. I tried reloading, repairing, and completely removing and with
any of those attempts, I recieve the message that it did not complete. I
brought it back to the Geek Squad and he tried to manually remove MS Office
Enterprise 2007 and it looked like it was going to work, the loading program
did get to entering the Key but after that, the same thing happened, it
failed. Could this have been caused by the registry issue from MS Windows XP?
I don't want to end up paying another $100 for them to try and fix the
problem or even to restore the system.

I'd suggest taking your PC to a competent & qualified repair specialist.
Ensure your data is backed up first, or insist that they backup your data
before attempting the repair

First of all how did the registry go missing. The computer would not have booted. If you were missing a registry entry in the hive then you most probably used some sort of Registry Cleaning Tool which caused it.

As far as Office Enterprise goes I would do as DL has posted or you can go to the IT person at the Company from where you purchased this version of Office through their Home Program and ask them for advice.

Geek Squad as far as I am concerned are a bunch of clueless geeks that know next to nothing
