:
Are you referring to Internet Explorer? There is no Publisher version
7.
Publisher 97 -- version 4
Publisher 98 -- version 5
Publisher 00 -- version 6
Publisher 02 -- version 10
Publisher 03 -- version 11
Publisher 07 -- version 12
I do believe however, the CleanUp utility will solve your problem if
you have
your original disks.

Its version 7 - it wasn't an upgrade - first version I loaded onto my
laptop.
That is the msg I receive.
:
What version Publisher?
You receive a "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office
XP Pro"
error message when you upgrade to Office 2003 or Office 2007

JoAnn Paules said:They can cause problems with software programs. If you're going to run the
cleanup utility, you need to be prepared to repair or reinstall software. And
you know as well as I do that not everyone knows where their CDs are or they
lost the product key or it was a download and they have nothing to reinstall
the program with.
