connect outlook contacts whit access

the connection is made but in the contacts folder it appears not a contact
record but a mail record

In Access we created a external object connection, Folder connected from
Exchange

That's still so little information that it's difficult to determine what problem you're talking about. You're using a linked table in Access to show an Exchange folder? What does that have to do with seeing a mail record in the contacts folder (presumably the one you linked)?
