Connecting outlook through RDP

When I try to connect my outlook to my exchange server I
get a error "rundll32.exe" I have set a host file up and
I can ping the mail server by name and IP but for some
reason when I try to connect it just locks up. I have a
brand new OS (windows XP pro) and I have tried connecting
with both Office 2002 and office 2003 with the same
results. I have other people who can connect through RDP
with no issues. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
