Connecting win 98 PC with a Win XP PC

I purchased an older PC running win 98. I would like to connect it to my
newer system thats running Windows XP. There is no ether port or NIC card
installed in the older unit. I do have two serial ports, two usb ports, a
parallel port, and a phone modem port (in & out). Any suggestions for the
best connection with what I have to work with?

You have posted in microsoft.public.office.misc, but this is not an Office
question, it's a Windows question. Please post to the appropriate Windows
newsgroup. (I'd suggest a WinXP newsgroup would be more appropriate than a
Win98 newsgroup.)

Here's an alpha list of newsgroups.

WindowsXP groups are near the bottom of the list.
