Connection issue

Hope someone can help. We have just installed DirectPC satellite connection. This, of course, makes our connection faster on downloads using the satellite, but still slow on uploads using the phone line. It is the only option available to us at this time. ANyway, my question is about Outlook. When I start Outlook and hit Send/Receive, it prompts for the old phone connection, not my new DirectPC connection. I am unsure how to eliminate this prompt for the old phone connection and how to make the new DirectPC connection the default. I am unsure if I am sending/receivng emails at all
