One thing to be careful of is how you connect to the Access database.
you need to use the path \\server\share\db.mdb so that all users would be
able to navigate to it.
Obviously they need permissions.

If you use a mapped drive then they might not have the same setup on all
computers.

Dear Clay,
the isuue am facing is that the databace is Access2007(.accdb) not mdb,and
am not able to find it when i search for databases!!!it is in a share folder.

Ok. Hmmm.

I have not used the new Access file extension. You could try saving it as an
MDB and see if that makes a difference.

I would assume if you can setup a data source for it it should work. But ?

template and the badtabase in a shared folder in this computer.so what is my
next step??
shall i go to every computer and configure the connection or what??

You should not have to configure each computer. Once a data connection is
established in the template that will be the same one that is used by
everyone without any additional configuration, except that they must be able
to access the dat in the same way and path.

Have you tried accessing the database directly from these other computers?

I would think their could be an issue using the new file format for access,
at least worth checking by doing a save as.
