Consolidated projects and Calendars

Stéphane

I currently have a hard time with a consolidated project.
I have 3 projects in MSP Server :
I have inserted P1 and P2 in P3. I have several issues :
- When opening only P3 I cannot edit P1 or P2 tasks (TF82041 error). Is this
normal ?
- Trying to attach a common calendar defined in P3 to P1 or P2 tasks doesn't
work. Is it normal ?
- When I duplicate the calendar in P1 for example, opening P3 causes a error
and the calendar is renamed. Do I have to duplicate these calendars in the 3
projects, giving them different names ?

Stephane,
Normally a consolidated master is not recommended when using Project
Server. It kind of defeats the reason for using Server. Nonetheless,
since this is a Server question, you should post it to our sister
newsgroup, microsoft.public.project.server. This newsgroup is dedicated
to questions/issues with the standalone version of Project.

By the way, if you do post to the Server newsgroup, you might want to
mention which version of Project you are using.

Ok, I'll check on the Server forum.
Thanks.
