Hi,
I'm using Vista home premium and Office 2007, the question is about Outlook.
On my last PC I had XP and office 2007 and:
When I received a mail from someone in my addressbook and I had a picture of
that person pasted in the V-card, I could see that picture in the header of
that mail.
On my new PC I found out that I no longer have that feature.
And no help file would bring me any further, no matter how I described my
problem.
I contacted the Dutch dicussion group first but -to my surprise - I got the
reply "we don't know of such a feature, what are you talking about?"
Who can help me restore this feature?

Mmm, hope I'll give you the answer your looking for...
I just imported my addressbook, having both PC's in a network, using the MS
import possibility.
One thing that is not standard is that I store my .pst files in a folder in
"Documents" because that's easier with backups. But I used to do that on my
other PC as well.

Then the first thing you need to do is migrate your data properly. Outlook
does not even have an address book, so we have no idea what you actually
did. Importing is never the correct way to transfer data. It is a good way
to lose data.

Note that some of the information on these pages is outdated and no longer
applies to Outlook 2003 or 2007. Specifically:
1. Ignore any advice to copy your PST file to Outlook's default location to
connect it to your profile. Doing so only corrupts your profile. Copy it
anywhere BUT the default location and open it within your Outlook profile.
2. Ignore any advice that tells you to use export or import to transfer
Outlook data. That has never been sound advice, but the process has become
too deeply flawed now to be of any use whatsoever.
