Contacts Lost

S

scrillapix

I went from one network to another network (I changed jobs) and my contacts
have been wiped out. I have a 37MB ost file on my computer & a 37 MB pst
file on my computer, but when I open them, I get nothing but
jibberish/computer code that I assume Outlook 2003 is supposed to be able to
read. I have lost roughly 70 very imrotant contacts. Can anyone help me,
please?

Thank you,

Have you tried opening the PST file using Outlook's File menu > Open >
Outlook Data File command?

The OST file is linked to the messaging profile on the machine it came from
so unless you're willing to spend a chunk of cash, that data is lost.

You have provided no relevant information.
If you are no longer connected to the same Exchange Server, then of course
your OST files will not work. Behaving as designed.
Explain how you created and are opening this PST file. Normally, Contact
information from your previous employer is theirs, not yours.
