My contacts seem to be dropping peoples names and address', names I know were
in there are no longer there. Its like they were deleted but we did not
delete them.

We've had no reports of Outlook's randomly losing data for no reason.
There must be more to your story.

I wish tere was or that I was aware of what it was. I do sync my axim almost
dailey, it still retains all my contacts. Most are family and friends that
are missing, so there would be no reason to delete them. I did take and pass
all the mous courses and am not a novice. This is wierd. Thanks Tom

Impossible to solve from a distance when there is no pattern of data loss to
report and no steps to reproduce the behavior. Outlook simply does not lose
data at random. I strongly suspect a synchronization issue.
I'm sure you keep backups of your data, right?

I have suffered the same loss of contacts for some time. It is aggravating
enough I have considered abandoning Outlook for CardScan. I have entered the
same contact several times over. I have about 1200 contacts recorded, and I
use a PDA.

Then you should:
1. Backup your data frequently.
2. Understand your synchronization procedure better.
