Contacts not shown in To: box

I am using Outlook XP on Windows XP and have recently found that my Contacts
list is not visible in the To: selection box. However, if I move the cursor
down the window and select the blank line, a name is enetered in the To:
field. What is further puzzling, is the fact that my Global Address entries
appear without any problem in the same window. It was visible on Friday, so
why not today? Any ideas?

Describe more clearly what you mean by "Contacts not appearing in the To:
box."
In what view are you looking and how did you invoke that view?
Where do your Contacts reside?

This sounds exactly like what is happening to one of our users. It started
after she synched her blackberry. You can search for my post under "Corrupt
Select Names Dialog."

Thank you Maurene. I had a look at what you suggested and took notes.
Fortunately one of my collegues found another solution to this problem. This
was found in the Knowledge Base titled - OL2002: Your Custom Column Widths in
the Address Book Window Reset to the Default Widths After the 'Select Names'
Dialog Box Appears. The solution suggested here did the trick.
