I just purchased Microsoft Outlook Standard 2003. I am running Windows XP.
When I was adding contacts, five of the contacts I added won't stay in the
alpha order even though the "file as" field is typed correctly. When I
first enter the contact and save it, it goes correctly into the alpha
listings. Then all of a sudden the contact is redirected to the space
before the "A" listing in the Alphabet. It seems to be only business contacts
and only five of those -- the same five. When I click on the contact in its
new location, the business name is not only in the business name field but
also in the full name field. If I delete the business name in the full name
field, then the contact goes back to it's proper place in the alpha listing.
But 45 seconds later, the contact is back in its location before the "A"
listing.
