Contacts

Hi,

I had a problem loading XP (I don't know if it was a virus
or not). So I reinstalled XP, leaving my old
directories intact.

But now I would like to retrieve my old Outlook contacts,
if I can, as I have several new contacts since I last
backed it up (that won't happen again).

I haven't reinstalled Outlook yet. Can I use Agent
Ransack to search for the file that has my contacts in
Outlook. Then use that file to overwrite the new clean
one that will be in there when I reinstall Outlook?

Thanks a lot for any help.

All you really need to do is move your .PST file (which contains all of your
contacts, messages, appointments, etc.) to the preferred location on your
drive and then when you open Outlook, tell it to use that one as the default
mail delivery location instead of the new one it will create. If you post
your Outlook version we can help you do that.
