Continuous background music using auto slide show

I have a slide show consisting of 350 photo slides and
want to add background music that will run throughout the
show while automated (slides change at 2 second
interval). That's where I'm stuck. I loaded the music
and it plays, but the slide will not advance to the next
one. What do I need to do to ensure the song, for
example, plays continuously as the slides progress?

Michael gave you the answer, I'll give you a warning. Unless you have a
very fast machine, trying to play an audio file and displaying a transition
slide with a photo every 2 seconds will result in "choppy" playback of the
music, presentation, or both.

I'm am trying to do the same thing. What can correct the
choppiness and make it flow smoother? Is there a fix?
