I have a customer show consisting of 5 screens set to a continous loop. At
the end of the initial showing, it loops back through the final screen only.

You've mentioned both "custom show" and "customer show." "Custom show" is a
feature available in PPT -- are you using that, or did you really mean
"customer show" -- just telling us this is an issue with a client's PPT
file?

Also, by "screen," do you mean "slide"? Is this a PPT file with 5 slides? Or
do you really mean screen, and the PPT file is playing in, say, a conference
hall on 5 different screens?

Please clarify what's happening. We can't see what's going on there, so you
have to be our eyes. If you're using the custom show feature, how was it set
up -- what slides are included it in? If you go to Slide Show|Set up Show,
what settings are selected there?

This custom show consistings of 5 slides. The custom show runs as follows;
Slide1 (Customer Names), Slide2 (advertisement), repeat Slide1, Slide3
(advertisement), repeat Slide1, Slide4 (advertisement), repeat Slide1, Slide
5 (advertisement). When initially started it will run through the program as
previously stated, and then return to Slide1 followed by Slide5 and then
continue with those two slides. The customer show is setup as a custom show
to loop continuously until Esc.

So are you running it manually? I don't understand how you've set it up to
repeat slide 1 in between the other slides.

Are all the slides included in 1 custom show, or are there multiple custom
shows? I'm sorry, but I'm still not following how you're repeating slide 1
between the other slides.

Oh, wait. If you go to Slide Show|Custom Show and look at the custom show
(assuming it's one custom show), does it look like this:

"slides in custom show"
1.1
2.2
3.1
4.3
5.1
6.4
7.1
8.5

?

And if you go to Slide Show|Set up Show, it's set to "browsed at a kiosk"
and show "custom show 1" (or whatever your custom show is named)?

If so, then yes, slides 1 and 5 start doing a loop for me at the end of the
custom show.

I don't have an answer for you, sorry, but hopefully now that we understand
how to set up and repro what you're seeing there, someone else will have
some ideas.

Yes, that's exactly how I have the customer show setup. Thanks for trying.
