continuous loop, then right into show

Doctor C

I know about the loop under show but it doesn't give a range of slides,
escape will not jump to the start slide. I have seen some shows that fumble
out of one show (escape) then try to start another show in the dark. Help!
This should be an intergeral part of Powerpoint.

Thank you for your time''

Save the presentation (not the loop) as a Custom Show (In your PPT Tool Bar:
Slide Show > Custom Shows). Then on each slide of the loop, create an action
button (you can make it descreet - even invisible in a corner of each slide).
Link the action buttons to the Custom Show you created from the presentation.
Now at any point in the loop, you can immediately link to your presentation.

Or you could insert the looped presentation as an object on the first
slide of the main show and set the custom animation/object to 'show'.
Assume the first slide to be the Title of the event, advance, which will
start the loop, pressing escape anywhere in the loop will return you to
the first show slide.

You guys are pro's for sure. Although I'm still having difficulty solving a
problem of mine. I'd like to show my presentation on a continuous loop except
the first title slide. When customizing you aren't given the option to apply
continuous loop to only a selection of slides. Help!?

Simple! Hide it.

Make sure it is the selected slide and start your looped presentation
(from current slide - Shft-F5) and when it repeats it will miss the
first slide.
