Convert Office 2003 Professional Trial to Office 2003 Standard

A

AlexHoran

I installed the trial version of Office 2003 Professional on my machine and
have been using it for email and document creation. I have been quite happy
with it but found that I was just using Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.

With this in mind i bought Office Standard Edition 2003. My problem is how
to convert my current copy of Office without having to re-enter my Outlook
account information and losing my contacts etc.

I know I cannot simply use the 'convert' feature within Office as I am not
going from like to like - but i was hoping someone could give me some ideas
about how to perform the conversion or point me in the direction of
documentation to help me?

Thanks

you can't "downgrade" to standard, you have to uninstall. however, you shall
use the Save My Settings wizard from the Office tools menu to save your
personal settings and restore them after you completed the install.
