Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Hi,

I have created a power point presentation (full of .jpegs)on my mac desktop which runs on office '08. However, I need to open the PP presentation on my older powerbook which runs on office '04. I saved the presentation on a flash drive and when I tried to open it on the older powerbook it did not work. Is there any way I can make this presentation compatible for the older version of office??

Thanks so much,
J

Other than saving in the .ppt format you can install the OXML Converters for
2004 which will enable opening the .pptx files. They require that your 2004
be upgraded to at least 11.5.0 & can be downloaded from here:

BTW: I suggest not opening the file directly from the USB stick - copy/move
the file to your HD first.
