Converting A Row of Addresses

Tim

I'm on XL2000. In cell B6 I have a long list of e mail
addresses separated by a comma after each one.

Is it poss to transfer them to individual cells in
another column without cutting & pasting?

TIA

Use Data > Text to columns and select a comma as your
delimiter. While I doubt you have 255 e-mail addresses in
that cell, you'll lose some data if you do because of the
256 column limit.

Thanks guys - it worked without entering the comma as a
separator as it worked this out by itself (most
impressive).
