What kind of file is it supposed to be? If Paint is attempting to open it
it's probably a bmp or jpg that's corrupted, maybe.
Ask the person that sent it to you what it's supposed to be if you don't
know.
Convert an image file to a Word doc? Doubt it. However if it is supposed to
be a Word doc, try and open it with Word...Save the file to your hd and
right click then Open With Word.
