Converting Ms.Word to powerpoint

Hello,

On our company we asked to switch our word documents which is full of
text and tables to the powerpint .. so whats the easy and fast way to
do this convert ..

or we have to work for hours to make this manually.

By the way we use office 2003

You can copy tables in word and paste special as a word doc object into
powerpoint fairly successfully.

Obviously you can cut and paste text from word too but it rarely looks good
as it tends to produce a "busy" slide full of text. Best approach to
powerpoint is usually short bullet points.

To transfer the basic text, spend some time applying styles in Word --

Heading 1 = title text in PPT
Heading 2 = primary bullet in PPT
Heading 3 = secondary bullet in PPT
etc.

Then use File|Send to|PowerPoint.

You'll have to copy over the tables manually, though.
