Converting TIFs to BMPs using the MS Office Picture Manager causes

Hello,
Images are cropped and exported in BMP format in the MS Office Picture
Manager the file size increases dramatically and changes the image from
monochrome to True Color RGB.

Hi Mike,

The MS Office 2003 Picture manager doesn't have any
settings for Bitmap (an uncompressed graphic format)
as far as color depth. You may want to try using
MS Windows Paint, or http://www.irfanview.com
or MS PictureIt! as alternatives.
