Yup, but it is a lot of work. First, create a new blank project and then
click Tools - Build Team from Enterprise. In the Build Team dialog, select
all resources in the Enterprise Resource Pool and add them to the team, and
then click the OK button. Next, save the new project as an MPP file. That
was easy. The hard part is getting values for every resource from all of
your custom enterprise Resource fields and outline codes. What you need to
do is to create a local duplicate Field or Outline code for every enterprise
Field and Outline Code. If you have 6 enterprise Resource fields or outline
codes, then you need to create 6 local Resource fields and outline codes.
And then you need to copy the values from each enterprise field or outline
code into their local field or outline code counterpart. Then save the file
again, with all of the custom field and outline code information. Finally,
you can then import the resources in the local Resource Pool file into the
Enterprise Resource Pool on the other instance. The steps regarding the
local fields and outline codes assume that you are using the same enterprise
fields and outline codes on each Project Server instance. Hope this helps.
