Copy number

I'm creating a data entry book. Each logical page in the book is made up of 3 physical pages. Currently, to create a 50 page book I would print the 3 page form 50 times. I then have to manually print the page number i.e. the first 3 pages are assigned page 1, the next 3 page 2 and so on

Is it possible to print the copy number on top of the form to act as an automatic logical page number? If so, does any one know how
