Copy Project Server 2003 from Prod to Test

Hi,
I am very new to Proj Server, but I have a task to copy a production server
over to a test server, but with the production data in it.
The environment in W2K3 sp1, SQL Server, Analysis Server, Report Server,
SharePoint Services and Project Server 2003 all installed on the same machine.
I have installed the above on "TEST01" as a new install fine and all looks
good, but when I try to copy the production DBs over to test, opening Project
Server website it says can't connect to the server. Looking within the Dbs,
the machine name is located in many tables... :(
Can someone tell me what more i should be doing other than the normal "PM
W2K3 single server install" to get this to work on a box with a different
machine name?
Many Thanks. Please let me know if you need more info...

Hi Marcus,
1. make sure the test server has a fully functioning project server
installation working. You'll need to know the accounts used for installation.
2. download editsite.exe and install on the test server.
3. copy over the projectserver database
4. use editsite to create a new project server instance, pointing at the
new database. (you can use editsite on the prodn server to see how it is set
up and test everything is working there).
5. Moving the WSS sites are more of a problem. The best way I have found
is to use STSADM to export the data from the prodn system and then import to
the test server.
HTH,
