COPY TEXT BOX

I have created certain rows with lines drawn through the middle of them, so I
can add text within each field. Currently the only way to insert text in both
fields is to create a text box. Is there a way to copy just the text box
itself and replicate it throughout the spreadsheet? It is simpy too
cumbersome to do it singly.

This doesn't answer your textbox question, just offers an alternative.

You can draw a line across the middle of a cell using the Drawing Toolbar.

Make the row height tall enough and column wide enough to accept two lines of
text.

Type your first line of text then ALT + ENTER then your second line of text
and ENTER.

Hello;

Noticed your post, and Gord's response about formatting the cells to allow
wrapping is a good one. If it gets you what you needed, great.

I'm not clear on what you are actually trying to accomplish, though. It
sounded like you want to "split" a cell in half and still have it occupy the
same amount of height as the other unchanged cells on the same row. Having 2
independent cells on 1 row in the same column is something that even Excel
can't do.

If the content above & below the line you're drawing need to be referred to
separately, the need to be in separate cells. By the same token, if the
content is just text that needs to wrap to more than one text line, the need
for a drawn line ro separate the text is curious.
