copying a publisher doc. to a word doc

I created a christmas card in publisher and emailed it to a freind but she was unable to open it. So I want to know how to copy it to a word doc. as i have tried without success. please help

In addition to JoAnn's response, you can export your file to a number of
graphic file formats in Publisher 2002 and 2003
In previous versions of Publisher, you can use a program such as SnagIt
(www.techsmith.com) to convert your file to an image by printing it.
There are a number of freeware and shareware PDF apps out there that you can
get, Adobe Acrobat is not the only option.
