copying bar styles to existing projects

I have read threads about creating a new bar style and using this as a
template for other new projects , is it possible to "copy" the new template
into an existing project.

The reason fr doing this is that the headrs and footrs are fuly used and I
didint want to start again from scratch without

Hi,

Make sure the View with all your bars etc does not have a standard name (EG
Gantt Chart).

Select Tools, Organizer
Rename the View if it is still called Gantt Chart
Copy the View to the Global.mpt file. Now all your projects will list the
new View in the View menu.

Hi Rod,

Thanks that works ( as you knew it would) BUT, when i try to delete the
global Gant and replace it with "gant1" which i can do in the organiser,
until i close the project the previous gant disappears but reappears when i
open it again.. how can i permanently remove the previous gant

I think I have sorted it out by playing with the global template and option
views in the toolbars
