Copying many pages from one doc to another

Craig

I have a ~600 page document which my boss decided to have
it cut in half by moving table and appendixes to a brand
spanking new document.
Is there an easier way to copy 250 pages of the old doc to
the new one?
I know the page numbers is there anyway to import there
information for the source file?

Thanks,

Sincerely Behind the eight ball!

Don't know if it is an option or not, but what I do is to make a copy of the
file, open it, then delete the pages I don't want. That way you are still
working with the document with the desired formatting, margins, etc. and
don't have to change much.

That worked, but I have another issue related with this
document. This document is a compilation of several
smaller documents and excel spreadsheets. The tables in
my master report needs to have the same information as the
smaller documents. How can I get those Tables in the big
document with out changing loosing the formatting?

Really Grateful,

Craig

Are they really Tables or are they Excel Spreadsheet data? If they are
tables, you should be able to click inside your table, click "Table, "Select
Table", press CTRL-C to copy it, switch over to your other document and
press CTRL-V to paste it.

One other option is to switch to your other document, click the "Edit" menu,
select "Paste Special" and use the preferred format highlighted.
