copying rows in tables

Does anyone know how I can copy either just the text or an entire row in a table. I am using Publisher 2000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select all the text and copy
That only works if you select the text in a single cell. If the whole cell goes black it doesn't copy. I have discovered the fill down utility which is great if you want all the rows to be the same, but it doesn't work if I want to repeat say two rows
Thanks anyway

I would beg to differ.
Select the source cell so it goes black and copy. Then select the
destination cell so it goes black, and paste.
Publisher 2003 has simplified this a lot.
