Correct steps in publishing

Hi all:

I've been confused about saving/publishing and wonder if I could get a clear
set of steps in creating/publishing templates:

I like to design/create forms in a personal folder. When completed, I want
to publish the template in a shared folder. But I seem to run into issues
with form conflicts.

Is this the right process:

1. Design/edit form in personal folder.
2. Publish to the shared location.
3. Delete the original form from the personal folder?

Also, suppose I have published to one location, but then I need to publish
to a different location:

1. Open template in design mode.
2. Publish to the new location.
3. Delete the original template?

And, finally, what if I want to publish it in one place, but then *also*
publish it in another place, (perhaps with a different name?
