Corrupt File

I would sincerely appreciate any help.

While using Publisher 2002 to work on a newsletter, it crashed. I was
pasting in information from Word 2002 at the time. When I try to
open the file now, I get the error message "Publisher cannot open the
file".

After reading the archives, I was able to go back and open a temporary
file saved, but I'll still have lost about 5 hours of work (still much
better than losing the whole thing!).

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion as to how to recover the
file.

It would take more than those 5 hours to recover the work than to
recreate it.

Thanks for the advice - it is appreciated.

I managed to get it to open by downloading the 2007 version of
publisher. Had no idea it would work, but it did!
