Corrupt Project 2003 files

We have recently had two incidents where Project 2003 files bacame corrupt.
One file was saved in two locations, on the users hard drive and on a network
share. When the user tried to open the file from her local drive the next
day, much of the data had been either moved around or lost. The same
happened with the file saved on the network share. The other instance
happended when a different user attempted to link two Project files with the
same results. Both are using Project 2003 SP2. Any help is much
appreciated. Thanks.

If you have a master project (another project inserted into it) or linked
projects with copy/paste special or a resource pool, you are using old DDE
technology. If you Move, rename or over-write either file without first
breaking the link, you get corruptions sooner or later.

Only your backup can then help you!
