I have had a couple of issues over the last few days where .pst files went
corrup for some terminal users. I have managed to restore most of the issues
using the scanpst tool, but I'm stuck on one specific issue with a user.
I ran the scanpst tool on the pst file and it managed to restore all the
mails, but into the recovered folder, but I am however unable to move or
delete these mails to other folders. I tried archiving these mails as well,
but to no avail. I get the 'the messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. if the problem persist, restart outlook' error message as soon as I
try and move it and 'Could not complete the operation, one or more parameter
values are not valid' message when I try and delete a message.
I also tried creating a new profile to import (or even move) these mails
into, but this also did not work.
Any suggestions?
